How to reset application if it does not start

If a program does not start after double-clicking the icon, the user.config file may be corrupted and should be deleted.

After deleting the corrupted user file, you may have to manually set the controller IP and database.

STEP

1

Via Windows Explorer, enter %USERPROFILE% navigate bar then press Enter.

2

Once the user folder opens, select the folders AppData → Local → Apps → 2.0 → Data

3

At this point, there will be folders named with random characters and numbers (each PC is different). Keep navigating until you reach a directory with multiple software folders.

Locating the correct folder sometimes requires trial and error.

4

Each folder represents a different application, select a folder that most closely represents the application with an issue. Click on that folder, then the Data folder. Within each Data folder are additional folders labeled with the version number of the application.

5

Navigate into the version number that requires resetting, typically the largest number listed. E.g. the picture shows v1.0.32.1. Delete the file user.config and re-start the application. If the correct application and version was selected, the user.config file should be automatically re-created.
