1

Backup the controller System and Stocks prior to starting the upgrade progress. This is typically accessed via File → Backup, however your software may vary, reference the manual for more instructions.

2

Record the controller’s network IP address. This can be viewed from the software main page or on the controller’s LED screen under View Net Info.

3

Open the controller cabinet and de-energize the system. You can confirm there is no power when the LED light on the controller is NOT illuminated.

4

Remove the old rabbit card and replace with the new version. Ensure the pins on the rabbit are lined up correctly to controller board by checking the mounting hole is lined up with the standoff. Failure to do so will result in damage to the system.

5

Apply power to the system, then confirm the controller power LED illuminates.

6

Looking at the controller’s 4-line display, wait for the start-up message to appear then press the Select button to enter the Setup.

If the system started before you could press the Mode button, go to step 7 to restart the system, otherwise skip to step 8.

7

To restart the system, press the Reset button near the rabbit.

8

Initialize the system to default to clear the memory. In the Setup menu, press the Mode button until the option Init Default System is highlighted, then press Select to start the initialization.

9

After initializing, press the Mode button to to select Start Program then press Select.

10

After the system starts, press the Mode button until you see View Net Info, then press the Select button.

12

Once you're satisfied with the changes press the Mode button to accept the change. You must re-start the controller to apply the changes (see Step 7 on how to re-start)

13

After the system starts back, up navigate to View Net Info and confirm the IP address is set correctly.
