How to Calibrate OMNIR 4-20mA analog outputs

This describes how to match the OMNIR’s 4-20mA transmitter to the customer’s 4-20mA receiver. See the wiring schematic for additional details.

1	Open the OMNIR windows software. Click Diagnostics, then IO Check. Confirm pausing the system.
2	Click the Calibrate button next to Channel 0 or 1.
3	Click SET LOW VALUE and read the mA value received on your system. Enter the value read in the box.
4	Click SET HIGH VALUE and read the mA value received on your system. Enter the value read in the box.
5	Click ACCEPT CALIBRATION
6	Enter 8.0 in the box shown in the figure. Ensure your system reads the same value. If the values are not close enough, repeat steps 1-5 .
7	If necessary, repeat the above steps for any additional channels.
