KilnScout MC% reading in the hundreds
Troubleshoot when KilnScout reports MC content in the hundreds.
Problem
KilnScout MC% values report values in the hundreds because the Charge does not have a valid Stock assigned to it.
Causes
KilnScout is informed which schedule the kiln is running, then uses that information to look up the corresponding Stock that is drying. If the PLC provides an invalid schedule number OR the number is not setup with a valid model, then the system reports numbers in the hundreds to indicate there is an issue.
Solution
Edit the Charge and record the schedule number sent from the PLC.
Next, change the Stock to the correct product drying.
Finally, adjust the system so the error does not happen again. Navigate to Setup → Integration → Schedule vs. Stock, then enter the stock for the schedule number recorded in Step 1.
